Residential Conveyancing based in our Grange-over-Sands Office.

In 2006, after working as a local estate agent, Claire made the move to Gedye & Sons as secretary for Mark Jones in the property department. Over the intervening years Claire has gained a considerable depth of practical and legal knowledge in conveyancing and was awarded the Land Registration Law and Practice certificate in 2010.

Her role in the firm is to conduct all matters relating to residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages. Claire has also assisted client’s in the purchase of New Build properties, Affordable Housing, and Help2Buy.

She continues to work closely alongside Mark Jones and Claire Logan in the Property Team.

Claire is currently studying with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) to gain a qualification as a Legal Executive with future plans to become a Conveyancing Practitioner.

She became a member of The Westmorland Law Society in August 2017.

In her spare time Claire enjoys travel with her husband and two children, also walking and tennis. She is an active member of the school’s parent teacher association and volunteers as its secretary.
