Emma Ludlam BA, LLB (Hons)

Associate Solicitor

Emma joined the Private Client department in July 2016 and specialises in estate planning and administration, and the preparation of wills and powers of attorney. She is a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is currently undertaking the STEP Diploma in Advising Vulnerable Clients.

Born and raised in Cumbria, having achieved a degree in Sociology from the University of York she went on to obtain her Law degree by way of studying a two year law conversion course at the York College of Law. The conversion course granted the LLB qualification and LPC concluding in 2007.

Following university Emma has worked in both private practice and local government before taking up a two year training contract position. She qualified in May 2015.

Further legal experience includes residential conveyancing as well as landlord and tenant law.

Now resident in Kendal she counts running, travel and wine amongst her interests.
